Project overview
Before committing to new premises, Aaron & Partners needed to know whether the property could support the spatial and operational requirements of its solicitors’ practice. Initial Designs assessed the available space, developed a workable office layout and produced the visual and technical information needed to make an informed decision before the purchase progressed.

Design story
We began by understanding how the practice needed to operate: the relationship between teams, meeting and visitor spaces, furniture requirements, storage and movement through the office.
A series of layout options explored how these requirements could be accommodated within the existing footprint. Rather than assuming a larger property would be needed, the design focused on using the available space more intelligently and creating an efficient working environment around the way the practice operated.
Detailed plans, furniture layouts and 3D visualisations made the proposal easier to understand and allowed the client to assess the property before making a significant financial commitment.
Once the layout was agreed, the drawings were developed into clearer information for the construction stage. This gave contractors a reliable reference for the proposed arrangement and reduced the risk of avoidable changes during the fit-out.
